Two persons were killed and several injured as per reports in Pakistan’s Lahore when an explosion was triggered near the house of dreaded terrorist Hafiz Saeed.
Rescue workers were pressed into duty soon after the explosion that was heard several kilometers away. Police and bomb disposal squad also rushed to the spot to control the mob and find another possible bomb in the area.
Witnesses claimed that the windows of nearby houses and buildings were shattered in the blast. Buildings at the site of the incident were also damaged.
Rescue officials said at least 16 people sustained injuries and were shifted to Lahore’s Jinnah Hospital via private cars and auto-rickshaws.
