Gujjars and Bakerwals to get state govt chopper in medical emergencies

LG Manoj Sinha on Wednesday announced that the tribal population living in far off areas of Jammu and Kashmir will be provided with state chopper in case of medical emergencies.

“For medical emergency, state helicopter will be deployed for tribal population. This will help in timely diagnosis & treatment for the needy patients” LG Tweeted.

LG inaugurated the closing ceremony of ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Divas’. He said that it was the need of the hour to preserve and promote rich tribal cultural heritage. “Culture not only enriches individual’s life but also strengthens community” he said.

“We are committed for overall development of J&K tribal population. The administration has taken several initiatives to ensure livelihood support and empowerment of tribals. New transit accommodations, tribal health scheme & smart schools will certainly improve the quality of life” the LG tweeted.
