The Jammu and Kashmir administration has transferred six JKAS officers on Thursday. Other than them, ACR Anantnag was given additional responsibilities as chief executive officer of the Anantnag municipal council.
Rakesh Kumar, JKAS, the deputy secretary to the government for culture, is transferred and assigned to the position of deputy district election officer in Reasi, according to the order.
The order stated that Gurdev Kumar, JKAS, General Manager, DIC, Reasi, is transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Udhampur, and Abdul Qayoom, JKAS, Deputy District Election Officer, Reasi, is moved and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Culture Department.
Din Mohd, JKAS, Deputy District Election Officer, Udhampur, will be transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Information Department. Naresh Kumar, JKAS, Deputy Director, Tourism, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Kishtwar. Masood Ahmad Bichoo, JKAS, will wait for additional instructions on adjustment in the General Administration Department.
Abdul Jabbar, JKAS, Deputy District Election Officer for Poonch, was also mentioned as having been transferred and assigned as Deputy Director for Tourism in Jammu. The order continues to state that the officers who have been allocated duties connected to Amarnath Yatra-2022 shall join at their new locations of postings after Yatra is over.
