Mysterious blast in Sanjay Nagar Jammu, police on spot

A blast took place in Sanjay Nagar of Jammu on Friday evening which struck fear among the residents of the area.

A car was damaged and glasses of some buildings were shattered. However police said that the blast was mysterious in nature and investigation has started.

As per SSP Jammu, Chandan Kohli, some sparks erupted from a power transformer due to which garbage lying beneath it caught fire.

“In fire flames, something exploded which is possibly any inflammable material causing sound. 
People are requested not to pay heed to rumours. Police team are on site for further examination” he said.
