In a major step, National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested eight more people in connection with a conspiracy to carry out terrorist activities in Jammu & Kashmir and other places. NIA arrested eight persons after conducting searches at six districts of J&K earlier on Friday.
According to an NIA official, till now, 13 persons have been arrested in the case in connection with a terror conspiracy case that was registered on October 10 this year.
The agency conducted searches at 10 locations in Srinagar, Kulgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Anantnag and Baramulla and people arrested were identified as Adil Ahmad War, Manan Gulzar Dar, Hilal Ahmed Dar, Sobhia, Rouf Bhatt, Shaqib Bashir, Zamin Adil and Haris Nisar Langoo.
The NIA official said that during searches electronic devices and incriminating Jihadi documents, posters etc were seized from them.
