Parents consent mandatory for students to appear in class 10th, 12th exams

Since the government has allowed the offline board examinations of class 10th and 12th, JKBOSE has issued date sheet for class 12 exams as well as making parental concern important for students to appear in each exam.

As well as necessary Covid Appropriate Behaviour needs to be followed during examinations. The exams for class 12th are set to begin from November 9 and are going to culminate in less than a month on December 4.

As per the instructions only those candidates will be allowed to appear for exam those have consent duly signed by their parents/ Legal Guardians.

The BOSE has directed all the Superintendents of examination centres to ensure complete sanitization of desks, examination halls, rooms, toilets daily before and after the examination and strictly follow the SOPs issued by the health department from time to time. Social distancing has to be maintained by making seating arrangement in a way that every second desk is left vacant. Also, all the students appearing in the examination must mandatorily be wearing masks and arrangement to this effect needs to be ensured by the concerned institution.
