Urgain Chodon, Chairperson Block Development Council, Nyoma and Tsering Choldan, Nambardar Demchok called upon LG Ladakh R.K Mathur today and put forth developmental requests concerning Demchok.
The BDC Chairperson brought to LG Mathur’s notice the inconveniences caused due to lack of mobile connectivity and requested his intervention in setting up of the approved Jio mobile tower in Demchok. Coordination with the armed forces for developmental works in the border area, reservation in jobs for residents of LAC and better road connectivity from Dungti to Demchok were also put before the Honourable LG for consideration.
Highlighting the urgent requirement of a gynaecologist at Sub Centre Demchok, the Chairperson also apprised LG Mathur of the need for additional medical staff and an ambulance on priority basis.
