Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Dr Raghav Langer on Thursday conducted a surprise visit in the Offices of Sub Registrar, Jammu North, Jammu South, Jammu Khas and inspected Registries of these Offices.
During the visit, the Div Com inspected the records of Registries and also interacted with the vendors, vendees and lawyers who had come with their clients for registration of documents and inquired about the issues being faced by them.
The Div Com also listened to the general grievances of the people who had come for registration of documents regarding the problems being faced by them during Registration of documents.
The Div Com checked the reconciliation of records, total time being taken by the Sub Registrar Offices for registration of documents and he also scrutinize the documents.
The work flow of the registration process was also assessed and directions were issued to Sub Registrars to expedite the same and make the process totally hassle free for the visitors.
Some of the sale deeds and mortgage deeds being put up for registration were also randomly scrutinize by the Divisional Commissioner
