Tablighi Jamaat members drop pants, misbehave with women

As if their congregation caused little trouble for the government, the members of Tablighi Jamaat misbehaved with nurses at the hospital where they were quarantined in Ghaziabad of Uttar Pradesh.

Members of Tablighi Jamaat made lewd remarks towards the staff nurses after which the latter complained to the authorities. The nurses have alleged that the members dropped their pants and made such remarks that were enough to hurt the dignity of any woman.

After the complaints of nurses, six of the Jamaat members were shifted to a private institution that has been converted into an isolation ward for the Coronavirus patients.

The Tablighi Jamaat had held a congregation in March after which several of its members have been found to be suffering from COVID-19. While the Jamaat was shameless enough to not accept its mistake, its members were one step ahead in creating chaos at the quarantine centers.

However after the complaints were received against the Jamaat members making vulgar signs to the women nurses, NSA has been invoked against them by the police.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called the Jamaat members involved in harassing the nurses as enemies of humanity.

Ghaziabad police said the Jamaat members were booked for passing lewd remarks against the women staffers.

What is Tablighi Jamaat congregation

Jamaat congregation at Nizamuddin Markaz Masjid became a hot spot of activity from March 5 to 20 even when there was a ban on congregation of group of people due to Coronavirus.

The congregation by Tablighi Jamaat- a sect in Islam- was attended by more that 3000 people from across the world that also included a businessman from Kashmir.

While the religious congregation of Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamuddin Markaz ended, its repercussions are being borne by entire country as it became a cause of spread of the virus across the country. The sect has come under a heavy attack from all quarters including Muslim clerics for arranging a congregation at a time when the world was dealing with crisis.

Tablighi Jamaat corona cases

More than 90 percent of the Coronavirus cases across the country in the past two days have been linked to Jamaat. At least 647 cases of the virus that were reported from different corners of India have a Jamaat connection.

One mistake by Tablighi Jmaaat has resulted in utter chaos in the country with cases rising every minute.
