Employees of the School Education Department (SED) going for higher studies without seeking approval from the competent authority, for them government has taken a serious step. As per officials, the employees, particularly, the teaching staff needs to reach the department well in time before going for the higher studies so that necessary arrangements are taken.
The officials said that in this regard, a circular has already been issued after it was observed that the employees used to go ahead with their higher studies without getting the necessary permission in this regard.
Officials said that it was noticed that the employees of School Education Department especially the teaching staff is pursuing higher studies without seeking proper permission from the competent authority and without sanctioning of requisite leave.
The staff without taking approval for higher studies created a mess in the system and resulted in shortage of staff.
The candidates who intend to pursue higher qualifications have been instructed to approach the competent authority at least 6 months before the commencement of the course for seeking necessary permission and shall join the course only after sanction of the leave.
