The sleeping phase of corona pandemic has narrowed down the big Bollywood Diwali party. Most of the celebrities have planned to continue the celebrations with their near and dear ones. Recently Kareena Kapoor Khan has revealed that she and Saif Ali Khan are planning to celebrate the festival away from the hustle-bustle of the city this year.
While Kareena Kapoor Khan has resumed work in Mumbai, her husband Saif Ali Khan has flown off to Dharamshala for the shooting of his upcoming film Bhoot Police. In an interview with ETimes, Kareena shared that they will celebrate Diwali away from the city.
They are planning to carry the celebrations to the pretty sceneries of Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. Soon, the actress along with her son Taimur will leave for Dharamshala to join Saif. “ It will be great to travel to the mountains and spend time in the open air and sunshine,” said Bebo.
The actress expressed that they want to keep the celebration very quiet and private this year and spend as much time in nature as they can. Since the whole year has been in slow motion and staying home; going into the open space will be refreshing, added Kareena.
“ It’s obviously not going to be a big Diwali and I am delighted with that, I would rather have it small this year,” Kareena concludes.
The actress is expecting her second child with husband Saif Ali Khan in 2021, but this has never stopped her from pursuing her career. She recently started her radio show ‘what women wants’ again and there’s nothing stopping her to be the all-time favorite POOH of Bollywood.
