Team Ladakh is participating in the 2nd Khelo India National Winter Games at Gulmarg currently. The women’s team represented by Nusrat Fatima, Deachen Dolker, Farhana Eliyas and Zahida Batool bagged gold medal in the Ice Stock Sports (Team Game) in the women’s category.
CEC Gyalson along with Dy Chairman, Executive Councillors and Councillors of the LAHDC Leh congratulated all the participants on achieving a well-deserved victory and wishes them best for the upcoming events.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the second Khelo India National Winter Games on 26th February 2021. Athletes from 27 states and Union Territories are competing in the Games which will conclude on March 2nd, 2021.
