In Jammu and Kashmir weather will likely remain fair to partially cloudy till January 29. Weatherman has predicted moderate to dense fog in Jammu plains till January 29.
An official of Meteorological department said that J&K will witness fair to partially cloudy weather along with moderate to dense fog in morning for Jammu plains. Further the official informed that it has predicted that light rain/snow will occur on January 31.
Official said that Srinagar witnessed rain in last few hours and the temperature recorded a low of 1.8 degrees Celsius against last night temperature.
As per reports, Gulmarg had about 0.8cms of fresh snowfall during the time and the temperature was 1.0°C above normal for this time of the year in the famous resort in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Qazigund witnessed 1.3mm of rainfall and recorded a low of 0.0°C against 0.2°C on the previous night. Kokernag had 3.5 cms of snowfall during the time and recorded a low of minus 0.4°C against minus 0.5°C on the previous night.
