Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has recommended departmental action against an Executive Engineer of Srinagar Municipal Corporation in a fraud where Mayor Junaid Azim Mattoo allotted 50 projects to different contractors.
Shockingly tenders of these projects were floated after the execution of works only to legalise them.
The administration has so far failed to act on the recommendation of the ACB against the engineer Ghulam Mohammad Dar three months ago. The ACB had proposed that fact finding committee may be constituted to fix responsibility of officials for non-tendered works by SMC.
