PM Modi urges people to put Tiranga as profile picture

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the people on the 91st episode of his monthly radio show Mann Ki Baat and asked people to put Tiranga as their profile picture on social media handles.

Regarding the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, Prime Minister Modi said that it is being held between August 13 and August 15 as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. He requested people to join the Har Ghar Tiranga movement and raise the flag on top of their houses.  He also asked people to have Tiranga as their social media profile picture from August 2.

PM Modi also highlighted festivities in various parts of the nation, urging citizens to participate in them and use hashtags to spread the word about them. He also discussed “Azadi Ki Railgadi Aur Railway Station” initiative and mentioned that the goal of this effort is to raise awareness of the historical significance of Indian Railways in the liberation movement.

Prime Minister Modi also urged children to visit the 75 railway stations around the country that are named after independence fighters and revolutionaries. PM Modi added that “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” is growing in popularity and all segements of the society are participating with enthusiasm.
