Sons of Hizbul Mujahideen supremo Syed Salahuddin, Syed Ahmad Shakeel and Shahid Yusuf recently were terminated from their jobs by the Jammu and Kashmir administration as they were involved in terror links-funding activities.

J&K administration recently dismissed 11 government employees which includes two sons of most wanted terrorist Syed Salahuddin for allegedly passing on information to terrorists.

As per reports, Salahuddin’s sons were in contact with Nazir Ahmed Qureshi, who hails from Baramulla district of Kashmir but was running hawala syndicate from Saudi Arabia and London to fund terror activities in India. Shahid Yusuf had also received funds from Aijaz Ahmad Bhat alias Aijaz Maqbool Bhat who was close aide of Salahuddin. Shakeel and Shahid Yusuf were actively involved in terror funding and all the evidence was in files but due to favorable regime evidence was buried.

Salahuddin was designated as a global terrorist by the US Department of State and has been on the most-wanted list of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Both the sons were backdoor appointees in the administration and found to be involved in terror activities. Syed Ahmad Shakeel found to have been involved in terror activities six times and  Shahid Yusuf on nine occasions. Both of them used similar mode of operation and used multiple identities to receive terror finance from multiple addresses from Saudi Arabia.
