Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Harbans Lal Sharma, visited Kunfer, in Chanderkote and inspected progress on four laning and tunnel work of NH-44 project.
He was accompanied by CEO MC Ramban, Vishwajeet, CHO, V.K Gupta and other concerned officers.
On the occasion, the ADC directed the construction agencies to accelerate the pace of work to complete the work of the tunnel and other road projects at the earliest to make it traffic worthy for the convenience of commuters.
The ADC was informed by the site engineers that the work is in progress on both the tunnel tubes and breakthrough of the first tunnel has been completed and work is also in progress on the 2nd tube.
Later, the ADC along with other officers also inspected progress of allied works at Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) Yatri Niwas at Chanderkote. The ADC inspected the pace of progress on construction of water reservoir/sump tank at identified locations and issued instructions to the executing agencies to expedite the same to complete the same as per timeline.
The ADC passed directions to all stakeholder departments to ensure that all connected utilities like power and water supply are in place ahead of the completion of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatri Niwas.
The ADC said that the developmental progress is being monitored on a daily basis by the District Administration to ensure completion of projects as per timeline fixed by the government.
