Three people died and and at least 15 others suffered injuries after a massive fire broke out in a scrap shop in Residency Road area on today evening.
Several fire fighter vehicles reached the spot after they were informed about the incident by local shopkeepers. Police cordoned off the area to avoid loss of life as some LPG cylinders had also exploded, reportedly.
SSP Jammu, Chandan Kohli said that a fire broke out at a scrap shop in Jammu’s Residency Road.
Police suspects a short circuit in electricity wiring set off the blaze in the shop that soon engulfed the entire building.
