Advocate Ankur Sharma’s ‘Ikk Jutt Jammu’ is now a political party

‘Ikk Jutt Jammu’ has been registered as a political party on Thursday as it was registered by Election Commission of India.

Ankur Sharma, the president of Ikk Jutt Jammu said that it is party of Jammu and has nothing to do with Kashmir and they have registered by Election Commission of India. He further added that it is for the first time that Jammu specific – all its 10 districts included – has come up and is duly registered by Election Commission of India and added that they will fight for all 43 seats of Jammu.

Sharma further said that Jammu people have an option now in terms of political and the patriotic people of Jammu who believe in the idea, unity and sovereignty of India, this is a critical juncture.

He is a lawyer based out of Jammu and has pitched for a separate Jammu state since the party started to shape up two to three years ago.

“My vision is clear. I am unambiguous. Full statehood for Jammu, minus Kashmir and non-interference from Delhi,” he told News18 over phone from Jammu.

He further said that he wants an overall progress for Jammu and doesn’t want any interference from Delhi and Kashmiri politicians should have nothing to do with Jammu.

Sharma further said that his party is inclusive and will take Muslim majority districts of Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Rajouri and Poonch.

He further said that he is overwhelmed with the response the party was getting as more than 10000 people had already signed up as members and claimed that even there are some BJP leaders are who wants to join the party, but he did not disclosed the names.
