Army rushes pregnant woman in Poonch to hospital on foot

Army helped a pregnant woman in Poonch by taking her to a nearby hospital on foot when the unit received a distress call.

“Indian Army received a distress call from border area village Tuglu, Noorkote District Poonch, for medical assistance to Rukhsana Kausher, who was in labor pain. Army troops responded promptly and with the help of locals the lady was evacuated to nearest road head and further to  nearest civil hospital” said an official spokesperson.
