Be ready for Assembly elections in J&K: BJP National General Secretary

On the second day of his visit to J&K UT, BJP National General Secretary (Organization) B.L. Santosh, chaired a meeting of former MLAs and MLCs, at Party headquarter, Jammu, followed by another meeting of office bearers of J&K unit of BJP in presence of J&K President Ravinder Raina and Seh-Prabhari Ashish Sood on Friday.

While speaking in these meetings, he said that after the Delimitation Commission’s report, the next step would be elections and “we have to prepare to contest and register victory with thumping majority. He said that the splendid development under PM Narendra Modi during the seven years and new projects of Health, Education, Power etc gifted to J&K after its reconstitution are the hallmark of the union government and the same need to be highlighted at every plate from so that the people are made to understand as to who is their real well wisher, who stands for real development of J&K and who promoted dynastic politics”.

B.L. Santosh said that during the COVID-19 pandemic, BJP activists were on ground round the clock to help the people through different means and still they too have to devote their time in visiting the vaccination centres and guide the people to take benefit of the free vaccine to protect them from the deadly Corona Virus till the country is freed of the Virus. He said that the pandemic can only be controlled by the united efforts and the party activists at all levels are putting their best in providing food items, sanitizers, face covers etc. to the needy.

“It is the BJP only where any activist can reach to the highest position in the party. Each one of us is only a carrier of a tradition and not boss” he said and added that Seva hi Sangathan is the core line of our service to the humanity” Santosh said.   

B.L. Santosh stressed on the constitution of Booth Committees and take up the party’s programmes at that level with proper management. He also sought details from the District Prabharis about the number of Mandals, their visits to the Mandals and asked them to put more efforts to ensure that party activists assigned different responsibilities are in constant touch with their seniors.
