Army spokesperson has clarified that the news of a recruitment rally in Samba is fake and there are no plans for conducting such a drive.
“In some sections of the media there is fake news being circulated about the conduct of proposed recruitment rally being planned with effect from 22 Sep 2021 to 10 Nov 2021 at Sher Bachha Stadium in District Samba (J&K)” read an official statement by army.
“It is clarified that no such recruitment rally is being planned by the Army Recruiting Office, Jammu during this time. The aspiring candidates are requested to visit official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in for correct and authenticated news/ updates only” the statement read.
