First gaming arena established in Srinagar by two young entrepreneurs

Gaming centres serve as virtual social spaces which fulfills the customer’s needs to connect and entertain them. Thinking about the same, a virtual gaming centre has come up in Kashmir which was opened in city on Monday in Lal Chowk in Srinagar.

It brings adults and children under one roof and enjoys their time of games as Pavilion Gaming Center at MA Road in city centre Lal Chowk brings several games together.

Two young entrepreneurs Adnan Shah and Aqib Chaya bring up the idea of establishing a gaming centre on a 4,000 square feet area by two young entrepreneurs. The gaming centre offers 30 highend gaming experiences on PC and console and alternative experiences like bowling alley, arcade games, crazy waters, racing simulators and 360-degree wireless virtual reality room.

Adnan Shah said that it was their dream to establish such centre. He further added that gaming centre will help kids from boredom from closure of schools and take them off the cellphones.

Shah further sadi that since, Covid19 pandemic has seen a shift in media and entertainment consumption trends, making people addict to cellphones especially children. He further added that eSports centre will make children involve in physical collaboration, strategic thinking and sportsmanship which will help increase the self confidence amongst children.

Aqib Chaya said that Pavilion Gaming Centre provides RFID technology-based cards to the visitors to play the games with many offers. He said that this is the first of its facility in the Valley, which offers a plethora of gaming opportunities to the kids.

He further added that after the closure of schools during pandemic it was a need to decrease the time of children from screens and these games will help them do so.

It was inaugurated on Monday bringing many parents and children to enjoy games at the centre.
