As the Excise and Taxation Department gets ready for the e-auction of liquor vends in Jammu and Kashmir, another interesting aspect has come to the light about highest revenue generating wine shops.
As per the Excise department, four wine shops that will be allotted in Srinagar are expected to generate minimum revenue of Rs 6,03,88,600 (6.04 Crore) in a year.
The four liquor vends in Srinagar will be located in Srinagar Municipal Corporation area and will be allotted through e-auction in coming weeks.
Interestingly Excise department has also assured the Minimum Guaranteed Revenue of Rs 6,33,81,200 (6.33 crore) for the only liquor vend in Lach Khazana of Kishtwar.
Most of the wine shops in Jammu city are not even close in revenue generation like the ones in Kishtwar and Srinagar.
