Snowfall, shooting stones and landslides at several stretches have lead to the closure of Jammu Srinagar national highway on Monday.
Jammu Srinagar national highway is blocked for vehicular movement due to mudslides/shooting stones at many places between Chanderkot and Banihal.
“Due to shooting stones and slide in various stretches, NH closed for traffic.” SSP Traffic National Highway Mohita Sharma tweeted.
Meanwhile a railway official said that train services will remain suspended until the snow on the railway line is removed.
He said that services will resume once line will be cleared.
