Jammu University gives relaxation to DDE students in exams

University of Jammu has given one time exception of concession in attempting the paper to DDE students.

In an order, Jammu University stated, “Pursuance of the earlier notification Exams/MDP/21/1216-1245 Dated: 24 -11-2021, it was resolved on the recommendations of the Master Degree Programme Course Coordinators of the DDE and in the interest of the students for the forthcoming examinations of 2nd and 4th Semesters Master Degree Programme (Non-CBCS) Examinations-2021 for Regular (DDE) & all Private Candidates shall be held in offline mode with 20% concession and open choice”.

It further stated that due to unavoidable circumstances, the distance learners of the DDE couldn’t be supplied with hard copies of a few of the courses. “However, the soft copies of all the courses have been uploaded to the DDE website. Keeping in mind the interest of the career of distance learners, the University has decided to give a one-time exception i.e. 10% additional concession to attempt the paper. This concession is only for DDE students depending on the situation mentioned above and in no way is applicable to any UG/PG course in the current or future sessions”.
