Jammu University relaxes rules for examination for Masters degree

University of Jammu has extended relaxation in examination for the students in Master Degree 2nd and 4th semester (Non-CBCS).

An order by Jammu University stated, “Keeping in view the prevailing Covid-19 Pandemic situation and its impact in the Post-COVID situation on the studies of the students, the following was resolved on the recommendations of the Master Degree Programme Course Coordinators of the DDE and in the interest of the students for the forthcoming examinations of 2nd and 4th Semesters Master Degree Programme (Non-CBCS) Examinations-2021 for Regular (DDE) and all Private Candidates shall be held in offline mode with the following concession:”

“that as an exception to the prevailing post pandemic situation, the students shall have to attempt minimum 80% of the maximum marks printed on their question paper which is set from the entire syllabus, irrespective of Sections/ Units. ” Further, it was also resolved that in those papers where the pattern is different the students will have to attempt at least 800/0 of the total marks out of the given Sections/Units”.

It was also resolved that in those papers where pattern is different, the students will have to attempt at least 80 percent of the total marks out of the given section/units.
