University of Jammu has warned the employees who were transferred on July 7 this year to immediately join their duties else face action.
“It has been observed that most of the officials who are under transfer vide University Order No. Estab/21/3455-3579 dated July 7, 2021 have not joined their new place of posting/adjustment till date despite the fact that it was clearly mentioned in the said administrative order that all the officials shall be deemed to have been relieved with immediate effect” reads the order.
“This practice is badly hampering the routine work of the University system and the Authorities have taken a serious note of it. Therefore, through the medium of this circular, all the concerned Officials who are under transfer are hereby directed to join their new place of posting/adjustment within three days positively of issuance of this circular, otherwise disciplinary action as warranted under rules shall be initiated against them” order further reads.
