Mutilated body of man tied to barricade at farmers protest site at Singhu border

A man was brutally killed and found tied from a barricade near the farmers’ protest site at the Singhu border in Haryana’s Sonipat on Friday.

In a gruesome case of killing his wrist was severed and a pool of blood found on the ground.

It has been suspected that Nihangs – a ‘warrior’ Sikh group are being blamed for the brutal and sickening murder. A video has emerged showing a group of Nihangs standing over the man after his wrist has been cut off and he lies bleeding on the ground, his eyes glazed over in shock and pain.

As per reports, the victim who is yet to be identified had disrespected Guru Granth Sahib kept in a makeshift gurdwara near the stage at the Singhu border, following which he was brutally killed.

DSP Hansraj said that at about 5 am today (Friday), a body was found hanging with hands, legs chopped at the spot where farmers’ protest is underway.

He further added that an FIR in connection with the murder has been registered against unknown persons, and no information on whose responsible and viral video is a matter of investigation.
