Naxals attacked security forces in Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh on Friday in which two ITBP personnel including an assistant commandant of ITBP were martyred. Naxals attacked the road opening party of the security forces on the Narayanpur-Barsur road.
Not only this, the Naxals also escaped after looting the weapons and belongings of the martyred men.
Assistant Commandant Sudhakar Shinde (Nanded, Maharashtra) and 45 Bn ITBP jawan Gurmukh Singh (Punjab) were martyred in the Naxalite attack. Both the jawans belonged to 45 Battalion of ITBP. reinforcements were sent to the scene after the attack. Security forces surrounded the area and launched a search operation.
