Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs to visit J&K and Ladakh

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs will pay a visit to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh from August 17 to 21to get a detailed view on matters related to the administration, development and people’s welfare.

As per reports, committee members will conduct meeting with select stakeholders related to the subject along with representatives from the ministry of home affairs and administrations of the Union Territories.

The committee is chaired by Congress Rajya Sabha MP Anand Sharma.

The panel will also review about the working conditions of the three armed forces Indo-Tibet Border Police (ITBP), Central Reserve Police Force and Border Security Force (BSF).
