Residents of Ladakh’s last village Phobrang demand mobile network coverage

Residents of the Phobrang, the last village on the border with China, today protested against the absence of mobile network in the area.

The villagers were demanding a 4G network which they claimed was heir basic right.

In an appeal to the Prime Minister and LG of Ladakh, Konchok Stanzin, LAHDC councillor of Chushul, said it is crucial to address the needs of these neglected villagers.

Residents of the area urged the mobile operators to install a small network at a suitable location, ensuring that Phobrang village gets the network coverage it deserves which is possible.
