Residents of terrorism hit villages of Kishtwar pledge to promote communal harmony in a function organised by Army

In a dedicated effort to strengthen the bonds of unity in diversity, Indian Army organized a Kaumi Ekta Meet at village Chas of Kishtwar district of Jammu & Kashmir. This event aimed at promoting spirit of togetherness among the community. The Kaumi Ekta Meet provided a forum for discussion, cultural exchange and mutual understanding.

Indian Army personnel engaged with the local community, emphasizing the significance of unity in the nation building process.  53 prominent society members from village Chas and nearby areas attended the meeting. The event concluded with a collective pledge for communal harmony and a shared vision for a united India.

In another initiative to foster intellectual growth and community engagement, the Indian Army organised an Elocution Competition at village Navapachchi of Kishtwar district of Jammu & Kashmir. The event aimed to encourage young minds to express their thoughts, promote public speaking and instill a sense of confidence and articulation. The event witnessed 63 enthusiastic participation of young minds from village Navapachchi with 06 teacher and nearby areas showcasing their oratory skills on a diverse range of topics. This platform aimed to nurture public speaking abilities, foster self-confidence and stimulate intellectual discourse among young minds.

The winners were applauded and awarded with medals and prizes recognizing their outstanding contributions. This event exemplifies not only Indian Army’s commitment to nurturing the potential of the younger generation but also as a bridge to connect with the community.
