Tandav Review: Tandav web series on Amazon Prime is nothing different than the police-politician association that is seen during the present times.

Film opens with a farmers protest (which relates to present scenario) with policemen enjoying liquor and entry of Sunil Grover, a senior police cop who asks his associates that police has to work in co-ordination with politicians.

Opening of firing on farmers and injuries to some of those poor agrarians is what is seen in some of the first few scenes. The series is definitely a police-politician drama that would keep the audience hooked throughout the series.

Saif Ali Khan who plays Samar Prata Singh, son of two term Prime Minister Devki Nandan is the ambitious and visionary politicians. His entry in the movie brings to the light how the actor has evolved with time. Nandan is suspicious if power comes in the hands of Samar he would end the democracy.

The drama revolved around how power can corrupt politicians and make them do what is not expected of a person who is an administrator and powerful.

Sunil Grover’s acting skills have sharpened and this is one of his best performances after Gabbar is Back.
