This CRPF official in Jammu is an inspiration for many women

Jammu is witnessing a spike in terrorist activities as many ultras have been detained from Airport, Bus stand, Kunjawani during the recent past.

Considering this as a threat for civilians also, Kamal Sisodiya took initiative and strengthened the security by playing pivotal role in installation of lights and fencing of public places like Green belt park in Channi Himmat.

She has curbed the antisocial activities like drug abuse, smoking, crime against women in public places.

Kamal Sisodiya, who is conferred with the “Veerangana Samman” in 2019 on the birth Anniversary of Maharani Laxmi Bai, an illustrious woman police officer of CRPF, is currently posted in Jammu division.

During her 21 years of service in CRPF, while serving from Northeast to Jammu and Kashmir, she took up the formidable duty of defense of the nation, facing many challenges of internal security. Not only this, she made unprecedented efforts for women’s empowerment.

She made Indian women living in the remotest villages and regions of the nation aware of their rights, inspired them with her motivational speeches, distributed sanitary pads to women along with many NGOs and worked tirelessly to make them self-reliant through skill development. She has contributed immensely for betterment and upliftment of differently abled children/persons, poor, needy and down trodden sections of the society.

Sisodiya is also a holistic writer and the book “Skill Development Mission” authored by her has proved very beneficial for countless people.
