At least three members of Hindu community have been killed in attacks on Durga Puja Pandals in Islamic country Bangladesh.

It has been learnt through multiple reports that some Islamist elements who wanted to trigger riots, placed holy scriptures in the Pandal and accused the members of Hindu community of desecration and blasphemy and attacked Pandals in several parts of Bangladesh.

Pictures of broken idols of gods and goddesses were viral on Twitter in which appeals were being made to the Bangladesh government to take action against the culprits.

Muslim majority Bangladesh has always remained hostile against Hindu minority and there have been incidents of killings, rape and blasphemy against the minorities in the country. The Bangladesh government has failed to act against the killings and desecration of holy places of Hindus in the country.

Hindus in Bangladesh have appealed to the government to deploy army at their places of worship as the police were not able to control the rioting Islamists.
