Summertime is the ideal period to visit Leh Ladakh. The best time to visit Ladakh is in the months of April and May when many of the tourist attractions will be open.   • Pangong Tso Lake

One of the world’s tallest lakes, the Pangong Lake or Pangong Tso, is renowned for its colour changing water which turns from blue to red and green. The 12-story-tall greatest monastery in Ladakh, it is surrounded by the enchanted beauty of snow-capped mountains and offers expansive vistas of the Indus Valley.

It is located in Jammu and Kashmir’s eastern Ladakh Region. With a total area of 4,400 square kilometres, it is the largest national park in South Asia. Leopards, Asiatic ibex, Tibetan wolves, Eurasian brown bears, and red foxes are just a few of the endangered species that call the park home.
